LIVESTOCK MORTALITY COVERAGE
Lavin Insurance Services has the capacity to access several financially secure markets (many that are unavailable to our competitors) both domestically and internationally, allowing us to provide our clients with specifically tailored mortality policies that most agencies cannot offer. Please note that all mortality coverage is subject to an insurance examination that must be approved by Underwriters.

ALL RISKS OF MORTALITY POLICY
This policy provides coverage for death or humane destruction resulting from all risks. Please note this policy covers death only. It does not provide coverage for injuries, loss of use, or depreciation.

SPECIFIED (RESTRICTED) PERILS POLICY
This policy provides coverage for death or humane destruction resulting from a specified peril such as fire, lightning, or transport. It is the least expensive mortality policy available while still providing good value. No insurance examination is required for this type of coverage.

BARRENNESS AND PROSPECTIVE FOAL COVERAGE
This policy provides coverage for an insured mare failing to conceive and includes prospective foal coverage.

PROSPECTIVE FOAL COVERAGE
This policy provides coverage for the foal in utero (at 42 days or after) until a specified time after birth, typically 48 hours, 30 days, or one year after birth.

STALLION AVAILABILITY AND INFERTILITY COVERAGE
This policy will indemnify the insured in the event that the stallion is unable to cover the nominated broodmare throughout the breeding season. Infertility coverage insures against loss incurred when a stallion becomes totally and permanently infertile or impotent as a result of an accident, sickness, or disease.
